Busy weekend for the Club with the AGM, Wrinklies, U19’s and Bangkok Chang 7’s

Busy weekend for the club coming up.

Friday 6th September- Club AGM.

The AGM is your chance to vote in the new committee, find out how the club is being run, see the financial status, plans for the year ahead, and to bring up any issues that you have. This is YOUR Club, and it is imperative that you take the time to help the club move forward.

Get on down from 6pm, with some food and drinks. Formal proceedings will begin at 7pm.

Upstairs in Molly Malones.

Weekend Action.

Please make an effort to get down and support either teams.

The Wrinklies kick off their Muddy Penny Cup campaign against the Gaulois.

Turf City Grass Pitch- 3.15 kick off.

 

While the Under 19’s are looking to bounce back after a narrow loss. They face the SCC.

Dempsey – 5pm kick off.

7’s Tour.

Lastly we have a team heading up to the Chang International 7’s in Bangkok this weekend.

Representing the club on the pitch are:

Tommy “Little TC” Chamberlain, Nick “the grub” Hurlston (C), Kyle “Sexual Chocolate” Franklin, Tommy “Turbo” Ingram, Ed “head and shoulders” Bridges, and Dan “Bucket head” Scriven. A few lads from Bangkok have joined up to help the lads.

Assisting the team off the pitch:

Sam “rub and tug” Brennan will be keeping the boys limber and match ready as the Physio.

Dale “rat botherer” Maxwell will be keeping the boys suitably amused as the teams Jester.

Ollie “The Face of Vegetarianism and Rugby” Powell is the Team Organiser, who will use all his rugby nouse to run the water bottles
